Dr. Alex Hong

Dr. Alex (Youngi) Hong is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist who graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from La Trobe University. He has worked extensively across regional Victoria, including Bendigo, Ballarat, and Wonthaggi, where he cared for diverse communities and strengthened his philosophy of patient-centered care before joining Palm Square Dental Care.

Dr. Alex is recognised for his gentle chairside manner, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. He practices all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in aesthetic and restorative procedures, as well as minor oral surgery, including wisdom tooth extractions. His approach focuses on personalised treatment planning, clinical excellence, and fostering a comfortable, supportive experience for every patient.

Believing that exceptional dentistry blends precision with a personal touch, Dr. Alex continually advances his skills to restore both function and aesthetics while promoting patient confidence.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys an active lifestyle through tennis and fishing, with his proudest catch being a 75cm snapper! Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Alex cherishes warm and genuine communication with every patient.
